Gabi Burcea is one of the young adults in our mentor program. He is a shining example of what God can do when He takes hold of a heart & life. Gabi attends a university in Bucharest and is studying social work. He has also spent the last two summers living and working in America. He returned this week from his most recent work opportunity.
This young man has not had an easy life growing up in the Romanian orphanage system and then living in the care of another foundation that was unable to continue caring for him. Gabi has volunteered to help with camps and day camps and is a great example to others. He is a hardworking student with very high grades. His desire after graduating from university here, is to pursue a seminary degree in America so that he can return to Romania well trained to bring light into the darkness.
Gabi has recently shared many stories about how God used believers all around America to take care of him, help him find his way, encourage him and bring him to church. This young man loves the Lord. Please join us in praying with him, that God would open a door for him to receive an international student scholarship to Dallas Theological Seminary, Moody, or another of the schools that he was able to visit and would love to attend. Pray that he would trust God's timing and plan for his life as he finishes this last year at university.

Hi Gabi - It was a blessing to have you stay with us again here in America! You got to see little Julia and she got to "meet" you as well! Remember, PBU is very CLOSE to us. We will pray for you as you seek to find God's will!
