A Day at the Lake...

Here in Romania... spending a day at the lake with the kids does not entail a lake house, dock or even a boat in most cases. It is much simpler... you drive out of town a ways, find a little lake in the country, pull up and make yourself a little spot!



The Casa Rebeca boys were all excited to try their hand at fishing, but sadly it was the middle of the day before we arrived and there was a little distraction for the fish in the water! The kids ended up spending a little more time in the water than fishing. Mama Erzsike, our wonderful mom/cook from Casa Rebeca joined us for the day and brought a big pot of Hungarian Gulas, salad, and more for lunch!



It was a great lazy day of playing and hanging out as a family. Please continue to pray for the kids and staff at Casa Rebeca. They have gone through many changes in the past few months and are adjusting to some new moms, educators and their new director, Alina. Days like this, when the kids enjoy each other and the simple things of life are always an encouragement.
