Ibi from Casa Nadia turned 11 this month and loved her fun new clothes and book on how to become a princess in 7 days or less!
Zsofia & Marian from Casa Rebeca have birthday's fairly close together and since they were turning 15 & 16 years old, asked if they could have some friends over to Kelly's house to watch a movie, eat pizza and hang out... it was fun to see them interact with others and to enjoy dancing, goofing around and making up games to play. Zsofia then celebrated her birthday at the house with the "family" on Monday.
Madalin continues to do very well in his new home and celebrated his 13th birthday this weekend. He was thrilled to have his two brothers come to the party and see his new home as well as the Briley family (one of his sponsors) come as well and join in the birthday fun! A good time was had by all and we were even served fish that Madalin and his "Dad" caught together for lunch!
Last but not least is our youngest... Daniela... she turned 8 years old on Monday! Daniela is a great mix between a rough and tough girl and a little princess... she wanted a basketball, nail polish, lip gloss, a dress and a lion for her birthday!
As you can see, birthdays are special around here. Especially for these kids who for the first years of their lives may not have even known when their birthday was and for others it passed without being acknowledged. It is very special to get to spend the day with the family, chose your favorite meal to be served, receive gifts from sponsors and friends and just be celebrated! Please continue to pray for each of these kids as they grow a year older, that they would also grow in character, healing and joy.
