The Parties Continue...

There were so many fun parties over the last two weeks, and we wanted to share some more pictures from each of the parties with you!

Tuesday night was the party at Tarnaveni. The kids from the three houses in Tarnaveni that we visit every week are so sweet! They are some of the most easy going and well behaved kids we work with! They have loved the change we made this year that instead of visiting each house separately we now do one big program with all three houses together. They loved their party and were SO thankful for their gifts!

Friday morning was the party with the boys at Sarmas. Alina and Ovidu have started going to Sarmas every other Friday in the morning because the boys have school in the afternoon. There are two houses in Sarmas, and they each spend time at one of the houses. However, for the Christmas party, they combined the two houses and had one big party!

On Saturday morning we left from Targu Mures with two vans full of volunteers and gifts for the precious kids from Zau. Five hours later we were still there, playing games, decorating cookies, giving out gifts, and setting up their new ping pong table which was a gift from the Ballymacash team in Northern Ireland. A lot of the younger kids who usually come to the program on Saturday mornings went home to spend the holidays with their family, so there were not as many kids as normal. However, that didn’t stop everyone from having a great time!

Finally, while we were at the orphanage in Zau, we were able to stop by the group home which in Zau which is filled with 11 of the sweetest girls! We took each of them a gift, and they were SO thankful!

Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support during this busy holiday season. We finished the last of our 12 follow up parties yesterday, and each party was a huge success. We would once again like to say a special thanks to Muskoka Woods Sports Resort in Canada, Fundatia International Teams Romania, and New Hope Trust for making it possible for each child to receive a gift which made their Christmas extra special!
