Friday was a big day for Zsofia and Marian from Casa Rebeca. These two young people graduated from 8th grade and easily had the largest group of "family & friends" present of any of their classmates! It was fun to see them embrace the fact that in their crown rather than one or two people (which they wouldn't have even had a few years ago), they had the director of our foundation, the director of their house, one of their house moms, both of their educators, their American friends and even some of their "siblings" there for the festivities!
It was a joy to be a part of this day with Marian & Zsofia and to see that they in no way felt abandoned or alone... if anything they felt overwhelmed with love!
